Mingwei - Hand Drawn Ink Brush Font

Proudly Present Mingwei - Hand Drawn Ink Brush Font, created by ikiiko

Mingwei is a handcrafted ink brush font inspired by traditional Chinese Brush Ink calligraphy, vintage restaurant signage, bustling street markets, and vernacular lettering found across old Hong Kong and Chinatown districts. Every stroke embraces the beauty of organic, raw, and imperfect brush movements, delivering an authentic handmade character that feels alive rather than digitally constructed.

Built from expressive brush strokes, Mingwei captures the natural pressure, ink bleed, dry brush texture, and spontaneous rhythm of traditional brush writing. The result is a font with unmistakable personality—bold, energetic, and unapologetically handcrafted.

Perfect for designers looking to create hipster branding, edgy packaging, or energetic typography with a strong Asian cultural influence, Mingwei brings genuine brush authenticity to every project.
