Big Yellow Taxi - Poster Art Font

Proudly Presents Big Yellow Taxi - Funky Poster Art Font, created by ikiiko

Bring a burst of funky energy and retro charm to your designs with Big Yellow Taxi, a playful display typeface inspired by vintage taxi cabs, colorful city streets, and the bold visual language of classic poster art. With its chunky letterforms, irregular shapes, organic curves, and intentionally imperfect construction, Big Yellow Taxi celebrates the beauty of handmade typography. Its oversized characters and lively proportions create a striking visual rhythm, while the rough, artsy details give every word a distinctive personality. Bold, cheerful, and full of movement, this font captures the spirit of nostalgic urban adventures with a fresh and expressive twist.

Designed for creatives who love colorful retro aesthetics, playful lettering, and unconventional design, Big Yellow Taxi brings together the energy of retro poster art, mid-century advertising, and handcrafted poster graphics. Its bold shapes and quirky character create an eye-catching balance between funky, stylish, organic, and expressive design. Whether you're creating travel posters, city-themed artwork, retro branding, café menus, restaurant graphics, packaging, merchandise, editorial layouts, event flyers, album covers, or social media campaigns, Big Yellow Taxi adds a lively handmade touch to every composition. Its imperfect letterforms and oversized display style make headlines feel spontaneous, memorable, and full of personality, while its vintage urban inspiration brings a sense of adventure, movement, and timeless city charm.
